5 Stars Great shoe
My husband loves these shoes and we have just ordered him his second pair. In my opinion, they are ugly. But he has difficult feet to fit (to say the least) and he can work in these all day (construction) and his feet still don’t hurt. He has VERY wide feet also and these are comfortable for him.

5 Stars Kook Kicks
I bought these shoes for ankle support and flat sole stability. I had major ankle reconstruction in January this year and needed shoes that supported my ankle and had a sole that was flat, not knoby with the cleatie thinges….this shoe worked. I have used New Balance shoes for quite a while now and these did not dissapoint. When I fully recover I may go to a skateboard shoe since the high tops are now becoming fashionable there and they are always much more colorful. We’ll see….

4 Stars Actually, 4-1/2 stars…
Once these shoes are on, they are THE BEST I’ve worn so far during this time of my life.

I’ve gained weight, had two knee replacements, and developed really weak ankles.

These shoes (and some custom orthotic inserts) give me such great stability and comfort in my ankles and feet, that my knees are no longer torqued and strained and fatigued so quickly.

These shoes have allowed me to get over a “hump” in my rehab from surgeries, and I think they should be standard V.A. issue shoes for knee rehab patients, especially those with diabetes.

The toe cavity is plenty big here, so if you are worried about that, don’t.

Get a pair of the black too. They shine up really nice, and if you take a marker and blacken the gray “N”, you can wear them with casual slacks and few people if any will notice you have tennies on.

Also, my religious services are historically long–1-1/2 to 2 hours long and you stand a LOT. Though it is traditional at my church to remove your shoes, I wear these during services with my priest’s blessing, and they allow me to remain focused and pain free for the entire service.

The only bad mark is that they are difficult to lace at first (different style of “eyelets”, but if you take your time you will eventually learn how to put them on and take them off with minimal effort.

3 Stars Nice but not worth the money
It is a nice and comfortable shoe, however, it could use a better, thicker insole. Also it wasn’t as “hi” as I thought it would be. Definately not worth $85 but when it is hard to find 4E shoes, you gotta pay the money.

5 Stars Best BB shoe I’ve worn. I play twice a week.
Great ankle and foot support. I recommend this shoe for anyone that has had problems with plantar facaitis in the past.

2 Stars runs a bit snug
Nice looking shoe but runs a bit snug in the larger sizes so I returned them…
