5 Stars the wise flip flopper prefers double stack
The uncomfortable breaking in period (about a week) is well worth it. Great arch support, hemp stays relatively dry even on 90+ degree days, and the pillowy double stack padding made me a believer. Very pleased.

I love these sandals. They are incredibly comfortable, and have super arch support. I wear sandals every day,and these hold up very well ( I average one year’s wear out of each pair of Rainbows before I have to get a new pair.) Viva la Rainbows — these are the best.

I got these sandals for my birthday last summer and I love them. They are comfortable and do not take long at all to break in. My only complaint is that they fade very easily when you attempt to clean them. Great sandal.

I wasn’t sure I would like the hemp material but I do.

The look is ok but they are comfortable.

5 Stars Most comfortable sandals ever
I have four pairs of Rainbows, and this is my favorite pair. All of my Rainbows are really comfortable, but these are also very cute because they have the narrow strap instead of the wide strap. The hemp is much lighter than the narrow strap leather pair (which gave me blisters), so I always wear these when I want the narrower strap.

5 Stars Rainbow Sandals – very comfortable!
Both my sister and nephew were wearing Rainbows on our family vacation and raved about them so I had to get a pair for myself. These were very comfortable from day one and I wear them quite a bit. I’m ready to purchase in additional colors!

I bought these for my daughter for Christmas because they were on her wish list. She loves them. They are very comfortable and have great arch support which most flip flop style shoes do not have. They are made very well. A little pricey though.

These are the best flip-flops I’ve ever worn! Not only do they have great arch support, but there was no break-in period (no blisters!). Comfortable from day one. I’m hooked. I want a pair in each color!

5 Stars awesome sandal/flip-flop
The Rainbow double stack sandal is a wonderful shoe! I have a high arch and they are the only sandals I have found that have enough support to make them comfortable enough to wear all day! Because this version of the classic Rainbow sandal is made from Hemp, it is a true eco-friendly product! It also makes them perfect for a vegetarian/vegan lifestyle! Your conscience will be comfortable and so will your feet!

5 Stars Summer of Comfort
I love flip flops, ecpecially during the heat of the summer. But all the flip flops I’ve bought in the past left my feet acheing after the day was done. I have a normal arch that needs support and I just wasn’t getting it from the cheap flip flops. This shoe is awsome! I get the arch support that I need and they are put together really well so it was a good investment for summers to come.

4 Stars Rainbow Hemp Sandals
For those who have problems with high arches these sandals are wonderful! Tremendous support and your feet just sink into them as the sandals seem to adjust to your footprint. The only thing I DON’T like is the size. They come in one-size increments and, being a size 9, I had to order 8.5-9.5. They are a bit long but worth it for the comfort and support.

1 Star Don’t Give in to the Hype
Rainbow Sandals do not live up to their reputation. They take a while to break in (mine are now well broke in) but that is not the problem. For some reason my heels will not stay centered on the back of sandals (a problem usually only reserved for wally world $2.95 sandals) and I developed stone bruises do to this fact. Below I will list Pros and Cons of Rainbow Sandals.

Pros:

- real leather

- durable construction

Cons:

- Uncomfortable before and after break in see above

- Very expensive

- Not enough padding (maybe the double layer is better, but I will never know because I am through with Rainbow products).

- If you ever get them wet even just the top they become dangerously slippery

- My feet will not center on the sandals (I have taken an informal survey and I notice even among adherents to the Rainbow cult that most are off center).

In closing I would recommend Cobian or Reef as I have had great luck with both brands.

5 Stars Fantastic Sandles
The sandles are comfortable, nice looking, fairly inexpensive, and all in all I love them. Will definitely recommend to all.

The zories showed up in reasonable time and were exactly as described…..the leather takes a few wearings to loosen up, but it is a comfortable fit and like the color!

4 Stars Rainbow Mens Sandals
I found the exact sandals my grandson wished for his birthday. I ordered the size and color (Sierra Brown) and awaited the delivery. When I received the package, to my dismay they had sent the wrong color (Sand)! So much for quality control. Not having time to return and reship, I gave them to him even though the color was not what I ordered. So, just beware you may not get what you order!

comfortable, hold up well, dry out after getting wet and dont look dark like the leather ones get after getting wet, and they look good too.

2 Stars Comfortable…but these sandals STINK!
I had a pair of leather Rainbows for about 2 years, but they started to crack. I decided to try the hemp ones, read good things. They are definitely comfortable and have held up well except for one thing…they wreak! I don’t have dirty feet and my other shoes don’t smell at all, but these things are embarrassing.

I would recommend paying the extra $10 and getting leather sandals, you won’t regret it!

4 Stars Hemp is Good, but Leather is Better
This is my second pair of rainbow sandals, and I believe I will continue to be a loyal customer to the brand. You won’t find a better quality sandal (and they guarantee a new pair if the old pair ‘breaks’ before you wear through the sole…check website). The only reason I got rid of my old pair was mold…and it was my own fault. They were leather, I’d used them in water and then not properly washed/dried them.

This is my reason for hemp this time around. I must admit that the leather was slightly more compfortable, but the hemp is still better than any of that synthetic bologna. Be prepared for your skin to be rubbed raw the first time you wear them for a long walk…but after you callus up, it’s smooth sailing. Such is the life of a sandal wearer.

4 Stars Great after Broken in!
This is my second pair of rainbows (the first pair were premium leather, and I did not know that if they got wet, you had to dry them immediately- so they started to get pretty gnarled). These are great, durable sandals – great for school, since they dont require you to take them off if you have to walk through water. They do hurt your feet for the first few days, so I break them in via many short trips in them, not one whole day, which I did in my leathers, which made my feet feel like s***! The ones I bought were black, so they dont show dirt as easily. I do miss the different colored rubber on the side, but thats minor. Plus, theyre cheaper and more “eco-friendly” than the leathers!
